Yes. You can add lines with plain text editor:
First comes contest name, then there is a pipe character | and after it the contest description. The file is read when cqrlog starts.
Remember that Contest name is just a list of names. It does not affect to anything and instead of selecting a contest from list you can as well type in any contest name you need.
If you have several contests in same log I recommend to add the year to contest name by typing. Then the QSO list/Filter /Contest filter can find right contest qsos easy.
With the EU DX contest in this wekend contest name is not in list, it must be typed in.
In this contest you can work same station in same band with CW and also with SSB. The very latest cqrlog/contest form supports this. Clik the dupe check date button and set proper starting day of contest. After that select NoMode4Dupe and duplicate checking allow same station to be worked in same band if just mode is always different.
Other settigs are "spaceis tab" if you like to use space bar as tabulator to move to next column. "No" because this contest does not have serial numbers, just 4 digit EU string or ITU zone from stations outside of EU.
Type in a callsing, press space bar ot tab key and type in received EU string or itu zone. Then press enter. Qso logged, you do not need mouse for normal operations at all.
Once contest is over select QSO list/Filter/Contest filter and find EU_DX_2022
Then select /QSO list/File/Export/Cabrillo and fill export window
Type in path and file name to export (you can also use browse button if you like) Press "Frm Flt" to get contest name from contest filter Fill Location and soapbox(if you like). Other settings comes from preferences/station values Select "Upcase letters" and RST sent and received with "stx_srting" and "srx_string" and press export button.
When export is done you can see new button "Open resulted file". If you have set preferences/External viewers properly this button opens exported cabrillo file to your text editor for checking and possible fix. If file needs settings fixs you can close text editor change export settings and do export again. If all is ok you can save these settings with "QSO layout settings/Save" for future use.

thanks.

Hi!
You have the "latest" cqrlog you can get from installation package. That is far from the latest version.
The version you can get by compile from source https://github.com/ok2cqr/cqrlog or by updating with my newupdate script from https://github.com/OH1KH/cqrlog/tree/loc_testing/compiled is the latest
If you look https://github.com/ok2cqr/cqrlog/releases/tag/v2.5.2 you see that there has been 139 updates since official 2.5.2 release.
Things have changed quite a bit.
