New install on Zorin 16 Pro

Fairly new to Linux. I'm trying to install CQRLog on Zorin 16 Pro and get the following message after adding the ok2cgr repository and trying to install CQRLog. This shows up at the end.

"Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
libgirepository-1.0-1 : Breaks: libgjs0g (< 1.68.4-1+b1) but 1.66.1-1+zorin1 is to be installed
E: Error, pkgProblemResolver::Resolve generated breaks, this may be caused by held packages."

How do I go about finding these unmet dependencies?

Thank you - VE9ZZ Jr

New install on Zorin 16 Pro

Hi!

First impression was: What is Zorin?
After some Googling it seems to be yet another Ubuntu variant.

I do not know Ubuntus very well but it might be that Petr's repository is not suitable for Zorin.
The problem package name does not sound familiar and it might not be directly needed by Cqrlog.

If Cqrlog is found from Zorin's own repository you should install that one and test that it works.
After that you can update the version with my update script from https://github.com/OH1KH/cqrlog/tree/loc_testing/compiled
I think that would be easiest way for you.

Install on Zorin 16 Core/Pro - it's just LTE Ubuntu 20.04

Yes, I'm having the same problems with this. Yes, Zorin 16 Core, (Pro too ) which is based on Ubuntu 20.04.

After:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ok2cqr/ppa;sudo apt-get update;sudo apt-get install cqrlog
which is found here:
https://www.cqrlog.com/download

I get the following:

The following NEW packages will be installed:
libmariadbclient-dev libssl-dev mariadb-client mariadb-client-10.3 mariadb-client-core-10.3 mariadb-server mariadb-server-10.3
The following packages will be upgraded:
cqrlog

Some good insight on this by Ubuntu 20.04 wizards would be helpful

Thanks!

Some more insight Zorin 16 with cqrlog install
I found another discussion here:
https://www.cqrlog.com/node/3079
The post at #15 seemed to work. This post is specific to Mint20 but that's based on Focal, same as Zorin 16.
I'm going to do a clean install of Zorin 16 Core and try that method again, since I've tried lots of potential solutions today, and this is the one that worked, but who knows where I started from.
I will repost with results in the next day or so.
Fingers crossed.

Some more insight Zorin 16 with cqrlog install

Post #15 here: https://www.cqrlog.com/node/3079 worked fine
with sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ok2cqr/ppa;sudo apt-get update;sudo apt-get install cqrlog
without needing to delete the cqrlog-data.

This was on a clean install of Zorin 16 Core.

Thanks!
