I've just installed 1.0.0. Beta 2 as a first time install in a Mint 11 (32 bit)(Katya) environment. The beta install also pre installed Hablib which was great, but I cannot get Hamlib to talk to my Icom IC-746 at all. I keep seeing Hamlib init errors when trying to get Fldigi working with it. Is there something wrong with the version of Hamlib that's shipped with version 1.0.0. Beta 2? As info i have had CQRLog and Hamlib working to my Icom previously under Ubuntu 10.
also I am a complete Linux newbie so apologies in advance if I've made a school boy error somewhere.
Hi,
what is not working? Reading freq from radio or settings the freq?

Nothing, doesn't read rig frequency and cant command the rig to do any thing. Fldigi reports:
E: show_error: hamlib_init: Invalid configuration
On Start up, not sure if there is a equivalent CQRLog I can look at?

Dave, please run cqrlog from console and post here what it writes down. Thank you.

Hi Petr,
I now notice since I added two logs, CQRLog is not storing my TX settings, each time i set them it loses these setting on start up. Also I cant add more than two logs, I get errors when I try to add a third. Running CQRLOG from terminal give me this:

Hi Petr,
Just downloaded RC1 and that's fixed my inability to save my config. Now back to my original problem I cant get Hamlib to work I don't believe its a CQRLog problems though.
