QRZ callbook

I subscribed to QRZ.com today but I can't get the QRZ callbook support working in CQRlog. I know I'm using the correct username and password for QRZ but I keep getting an error that says "username and or password incorrect" What am I doing wrong? Hamqth callbook lookup still works fine.

Hi!

In past versions of Cqrlog there was bug in decoding special letters (in password). At the moment (2.6.0) there should not be that problem.
Could you change your password to contain only letters a-z, A-Z and numbers 0-9.
If that does help you should upgrade your Cqrlog (or stop using that kind of special characters.)

Cqrlog uses following to get session id from qrz:

https://xmldata.qrz.com/xml/1.34?username=oh1kh;password=passwdhere;agen...

You can change your username and password and test with web browser to see if qrz.com accepts your username and password.
As reply you should get something like:

<QRZDatabase xmlns="http://xmldata.qrz.com" version="1.34">
<Session>
<Key>b4011cb9035e7a524b83cb3b25c21234</Key>
<Count>15990</Count>
<SubExp>non-subscriber</SubExp>
<GMTime>Thu Jun 30 09:23:15 2022</GMTime>
<Remark>cpu: 0.016s</Remark>
</Session>
</QRZDatabase>

Of course you should not see "non-subscriber" in your case.

If your password has special characters you should decode them by rules of html encode. But as said it is best to start with plain text password to see that all works.

I had to change my QRZ

I had to change my QRZ password to exclude characters that CQRlog does not recognize. Working fine now.

Can you specify the problem character , please?
I like to test that it works with latest version.
