CQRLOG 1.0.0~rc1 released

The first release candidate is here. If you don't find any serious bugs, next release will be 1.0.0. For the first time, we have repository for Ubuntu users! A day or so after beta2 release I created repository on Launchpad. There is CQRLOG for Lucid (10.04), Maverick (10.10), Natty (11.04) and Oneiric (11.10).

News:
  • new About window added
  • changelog in html format added
  • changelog is showing after the first start of new program version
  • membership databases update
  • load club window response improved
  • rebuild membership statistic function didn't work when something were stored into award or name etc. fields - fixed
  • adif import/export date format problems fixed
  • after using clear database function save config didn't work - fixed
  • zip code tracking for USA states fixed
To add repository to your system put into terminal this:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ok2cqr/ppa
sudo apt-get update

Now you can instal CQRLOG with Ubuntu software center or with Synaptics. CQRLOG icon will appear in Application -> Accessories. So next time when new version will be released, you'll see it in update manager.

For those who don't use Ubuntu, there are Debian packages:

Complete application directory for other distributions:

And binaries which should work at any distribution. Please don't forget to install MySQL server, MySQL client and Hamlib libraries, first.

If you find any error please let me know here into CQRLOG forum or send me email to petr@ok2cqr.com. Thank you!

Error creating a third log

Hi Petr,
I've managed to create two logs in CQRLog but when I try and create a thrid i get this error?

MainCon : Error executing query: Can't create database 'cqrlog003'; database exists.

Error creating a third log

I have created three logs, and apart from the import problem described elsewhere, without a hitch, all three are running just fine and (again except for the 21 errors) have managed to import data from my three instances of 0.9.6.

Running 1.0.0RC1 on Ubuntu 10.10 32-bit and installed from the repository using the Softwarecenter.

RE:QSL_R and QSL_R fields

Hi Janos,

I just tried it and it's working without any problem. From what program did you export ADIF file? If it was CQRLOG, please check in Preferences -> Export if you have all fields marked for export.

Please let me know if it helps. Thank you!

Rig control

I can not seem to get rig control, I get it with Fldigi no problem, for some reason not with CQRlog, I am running Mint 11 and the rig is a FTDX 5000. I had it working with Mint 10 the same settings, any tips?? Thanks Peter I have tried many combinations..

Works Great

I had a problem with the beta, but this new version works fine - no issues at all on Mandriva 2010.2

Great work.

Working without a problem!!

Just to let you know I have CQRLog V1rc1 working on Ubuntu 10.04LTS without a problem! Even with FLDigi. I managed to import my log without a problem also, seems strange why all others are having problems, unless it's down to the distro they're running?
