Rotorcontroll timed_out

Good evening,
got a new easy rotor controll (ERC4 USB) kit built by today, had it flashed to use the GS232A protocol. Rotor control is working flawlessly by pressing the short path / long path buttons. Unfortunately if pressing turn left/right buttons results in errors and the rotator is not moving.
I started the rotctld by /usr/bin/rotctld -m 601 -r /dev/ttyUSB2 -s 9600 -t 4533 -vvvvv and see a

error message.

Get the same error message while talking to the rotor via rotctl in terminal and using the M command i.e. M 16 -1 .

In cqrlog preferences settings are:
ROT ID model 2 Hamlib NET rotctl
Device 127.0.0.1
Poll rate 500
Port number 4533
Serial speed 9600
Data bits 8
Stop bits 1
Parity None
Handshake None (nothing else works)
DTR default
RTS default

ROT ID models 404 (ERC), 401 (Idiom Press Rotor EZ), 603 (GS232B), each with the right protocol flashed to the ERC board are not working.
rotctld is version Hamlib 3.1., cqrlog ist 2.5.1.

Any ideas to get the turn buttons working are very welcome

solved: installed new Hamlib 4.6

What I wanted to avoid is to upgrade hamlib due to possible problems (never change a running system). But after upgrading to hamlib 4.6 the turn buttons are working! I love cqrlog!
Hopefully wsjtx, fldigi, qsstv, js8call and CubicSDR are still running. Will check that out tomorrow.
Maybe my findings are usefull for someone else.
Best regards!
