CQRLOG downloaded 9/25/2024 onto Ubunto 22.04, Mariadb installed Ok
I am using CQRLOG Free standing without a Radio and cannot manually enter the QSO frequency
Workflow: New QSO, Frequency, select a frequency from the pull down
the frequency flashes and returns to blank. The same when the frequency is typedy in, the window blinks and changes to a blank.
Rig name is HAMLIB DUMMY NO VFO

If your rigctld has not started you should be able to set frequency manually to NewQSO/Frequency. That, how ever depends on your Cqrlog version.
In some versions there are bugs.
If you have preferences/TRXcontrol set to have rig model Hamlib rigctld dummy ( #2) and checked "run rigctld at program start" you can open NewQSO/Window/TRXControl.
You should see then frequency 145MHz if your Hamlib dummy rig has started ok.
Then you can click over frequency display of TRXControl, press CTrl+A to select all and then type wanted frequency and press enter.
You can also use quick band&mode select buttons to set the default frequencies.
