TRX Control - rig frequency change

Hi all,

I use CQRLOG with my Xiegu G90 and everything works except the CAT control of the frequency CQRLOG>G90. I can change band, mode, but not frequency. I read that it should be enough to click on the frequency and rotate the mouse wheel, but nothing happens. The version is 2.5.2
Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks a lot

Stefano

TRX Control - rig frequency change

Hi Stefano!

I am just thinking is that feature in 2.5.2. It is already so old version that I can't remember that any more.
But if no change happens at TRXControl frequency reading when you click on it then it is not there.

After you click frequency the view changes, then you have to click the number you want to change with mouse left, then change with mouse roll.
The view variables depending on with what widget set the program is compiled. This view is from CqrlogAlpha_QT6 version.

To get this working smoothly the rig poll value should be something around 100 - 500.

In case 2.5.2 does not have that you can try to select rig model as #4 "flrig" and start program flrig with Cqrlog to drive your rig. With Flrig the mouse roll frequency adjust works very well.

Thanks Saku for the reply,

Thanks Saku for the reply, but the 2.5.2 is not the last one?
If you look in the menu "downloads>Recent versions" of this site you can find the 2.5.2. Is there any other newer version?

Tack

Re: Thanks Saku for the reply,

Hi Stefano.

Saku has his own CQRLOG versions available for download on his GiHub page. Even version 2.5.2 can change the frequency - just enter the frequency in kHz to the Callsign field and hit Enter. It should change it to whatever you want and radio supports.

enter the frequency in kHz to the Callsign field and hit Enter

Hi !

After all these years again new property "enter the frequency in kHz to the Callsign field and hit Enter".

I had to check the source, and yes, it is there. Even in my versions.
I have looked that part many times but always missed "if key = 13 then " and what really happens then.

Nice to learn new things .-)

Thans Petr,

Thans Petr,
"enter the frequency in kHz to the Callsign field and hit Enter" works fine.

I tried to upgrade to the Saku version, but my GLIBC is too old.

Thanks again and happy new year!
