Hi
Using Fedora 17 and so far cqrlog been working ok. I think some time ago, got updates into Mysql. Now can't connect anymore into database.
Symptoms started, I could type only one qso and save it, after that could not type more. I unchecked "automode" from qsowindow and restarted
cqrlog, now I get: Error during connection database: Server connect failed.
Next: Cannot focus a disabled or invisible window. Then normal press ok to ignore ...etc.
What might have happened?

Also did database repair, it was ok....
Any ideas?
Ok, my bad, again, hi.
Database is ok, I did mistake there, playing with my.cnf....
But, mystery is, why I can type only one qso into qsowindow, when typed and choose foinstance mode, I can't save qso with enter, have to use mouse and after that, I can't type anything with keyboard. It has worked like charm earlier... Must be something to do with Fedoras update, but where to look?
Cqrlog version 1.4.1

Jarmo

Hi Jarmo,
I'm sorry I have no idea what could be worng. I don't have Fedora on my computer. Maybe you could try to replace my.cnf from the instalation archive.

Jarmo

Hi Petr
Now I have tested 1.5.0 version and it behaves same as 1.4.1. I.E, if I type call into qsowindow and select freq. with mouse, my keyboard becomes useles, have to save qso with mouse. I did install cqrlog into another comp with F17 and everything works fine. Only difference between these two comps is keyboard/mouse. There, where I have troubles, I have wireless usb and in another I have ps/2 keyb and usb mouse. Have to test, if the failure is in wireless usb system, so it becomes maybe kernell issue, because F17 got update for kernell at the same time with Mysql. After this update all troubles started. We'll see...
Second, why I get that Msql table errors, what showed earlier. I have examined Mysql and I can see those both tables there...

Jarmo

Can't find reason why I can't type after changhing frequecy. version is now 1.5.1. I use KDE in all comps and this is only one, where this occurs. I have done pure installation of cqrlog, does not help. I started KDE newly, I have tried other keyboards and mice, still writing hangs after choosing other freq. from dropdown... Mucho annoying, hi.
Sure, this is something to do with this computer, so I keep on testing...
