Didn't we talk about this one?. I can't find that post anymore.
Ver. 1.5.4
My FT-847 still changes bands mantaining SSB mode from the previous used mode.
So if I point to a DX on the Bandmap windows on 7 MHz or example, and the VFO was on 21 MHz USB, it changes to 7 MHz USB.
I think it is related with the order that commands are sent to hamlib.
And I also know this worked fine a few releases ago.
Any help appreciated, as I'm missing some DXCC when I don't notice the wrong mode is selected.
Thank you!

Hi Eduardo,
I have the very same thing here on my TS-850. Still running CQRlog 1.5.2 though because I can't run the new version on my Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid). It has a dependency problem with libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0.
So, I am not sure yet whether USB/LSB works as it should in 1.5.4.

I tried the 1.5.4 in Mint 14, which I have installed on a seperate partition on a regular HDD. Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid) is installed on an SSD.
Nevertheless, USB/LSB is perfectly chosen automatically. And that is where I saw my mistake. I never checked the "AUTO" checkbox in the main logging window. So, now it works fine with 1.5.2 in Lucid as well.
Sorry for my mistake,

I had the very same problem with my FT-857, may be it's tha same for FT-847
I solved setting the bandwith af all modes to 0 on Preferences-Modes page.
Hope this can help

Marco, that didn't work for me.
But thanks for trying.
Ooops, my fault.
Mode checkbox set to Auto (to auto fill RST 59 in log) + bandwith set to 0 as Marco suggested, et voila, happy camper again :)
Sorry. This wan not a bug but a user mistake.
I'm glad you are back on business :)
