Running version 1.5.4 on Ubuntu 12.04. All works great except DXCluster. I cannot get any spots whether I connect to Web or a Telnet service. Anyone have an idea or stumped too?
Thanks,

DX Cluster
Still no luck... help please..
Hi Blair,
did you try it directly from console? Are you behind some kind of proxy?
Did you try HamQTH.com port 7300?

I have just upgraded to ver 1.5.8 and still cannot connect to the DX cluster. Have tried Web and Telnet. Have call and password set, but no luck. Cannot get the rig control to work either via
serial port or USB/serial cable. I can connect to HAMQTH with Firefox so I know the internet works. Any ideas?

The 1.5.8 works fine here Clayton. I would be looking at your local setup as I am sure the software is OK.

I'm sure the software is OK, just getting it to work here is the problem. I'm using Linux Mint 13 and I have checked everything that has been mentioned is the help files. Just will not log onto the DX cluster and cannot get the rig control working. The radio
works fine with HRD but I want to dump Windo$$$$ and HRD$$$.
I'm sure there is an unchecked box or ???

Hi Clayton,
did you see this thread? http://www.cqrlog.com/node/831
Tom, K8WDX posted this:
BTW with Mint 13 do this and it will work;
Terminal:
sudo touch /etc/resolv.conf
sudo gedit /etc/resolv.conf
you must create two lines:
nameserver 8.8.8.8
nameserver 8.8.4.4
save and restart

Please try it and let me know if it works or not. Thank you!

For rig control you must be part of the dialout group
Terminal:
gksudo gedit /etc/group
look for dialout:x:20
put in you pc name, mine is k8wdx so it would look like this
dialout:x:20:k8wdx
save, close and restart. try that..

Thanks Petr. I'll try that and let you know

Thanks Petr! That worked great! I'm now cooking with gas on the front bunner.
Now to get the rig control working. I did set the computer as a member of the dialout group, but I'm having thoughts about the Hamlib being installed. I'm going to
reinstall it and things just might fly.
Thanks to all for the help. Best DX and 73
