Hi
In my Fedora 19, Mysql is on its way to be changed into
Mariadb. In Mariadb wiki, says, that it is going to be "very"
much compatible with Mysql. But, allways that big BUT :)
As seen other distros also are shown their intrests to
change into Mariadb.
Now, Petr, are you aware of this?
Just pointing one possible so called mysterious Mysql "bug".
Jarmo
Hi Jarmo,
yes, it should work but I didn't try it. I had a few problems with utilities used on HamQTH after moving to MariaDB. I can try to install it to virtual machine and let you know if it worked.
MySQL bug should be already fixed. Very interesting is, I've never had any problem with it, also Martin didn't tell me anything. To be sure, I reverted MySQL code changes.
