Label Printing

I have a question about the "Fields" on a Label - as when I set up my test sheet ready for printing the Fields appear in the wrong order - I have used the exact template used in the cqrlog online help.
The only thing I HAVE done different is in how cqrlog displays my log, ie:- I have moved the columns around to my own preference - could it be this has somehow changed the columns order ? I do not know what the numbers on the Labels Fields represent- maybe I have missed something, not sure.
I  know this works as I did have it running on my Laptop, but I had to swap back to W7 because of a hardware issue :-(

Any clues?

Thanks:   Pedro

Re: Label Printing

Hi,

yes, new version of CQRLOG has different columns order. You can define what columns do you want to have in the file, so you have to also modify the template.

Re: Label Printing

Hi Petr
As I thought - I am stuck though,  as I do not know what numbers I need to put into the new Glabels template.

Thanks for the reply.

Hi Peter

Hi Peter
I use following..
Confirming QSO with ${3}                         Via  ${7}
${1}  ${2}  ${6}  ${4}  ${5}${10} ${11} ${15} ${13} ${14}${19} ${20} ${24} ${22} ${23}
Here for 3 qso's to label but you can define more, depends size of label.Order here is Date, Time, Rprt, Band, Mode. You can change order into what you want..
I use 6 qso's to card. I no longer print label, I print directly back of the card, became too lazy to clue labels separately on cards, :))

Re: Label Printing

Hi Peter,

open the exported CSV file. There are lines with items separated by comma (,). The items are counted from the left to the right.
E.g.

ok2cqr,2014-05-20,1212,g4nkx

{1} means first item on the line - ok2cqr
{3} means 1212 from the example

Re Label Printing

Hi Petr
Thanks again for that Petr - I have had various e-mails on this and have now produced my first set of labels and although they are basic it is a start - I will try to improve on what I achieved so far - Thanks to all who have input on this subject - at least we're up and running now.

Re Label Printing

Hello Petr

Thank you for replying  -  I assume the log columns are numbered from left  to  right as they are displayed in the log ?
I will play with this during the week - I hope I can get this function to work properly as My log columns are now different to the default display order.

Thanks
