Hi,
I'm a new user with CQRLOG and hope to remain it.I use KUBUNTU 14.01 and CQRLOG 1.8.2 with abt 500 QSO (testing step) and have a performance isssue. I need about 1 min to edit or entry a QSO. I red about performance issues in the past and the author advices to changed a configuration file. The name I gave are changed and I dont' know what to do. I've no TRX online nor cluster : a stand alone CQRLOG.
Any advice or help ?

CQRLOG very slow
Hi Luc,
please create another log in Database conenction window and after cqrlgo strarts, open the second log. After New QSO window appears, go to File -> open or create new log and choose your log. It's annoying but I don't have any other solution. I observe the problem here as well but the delay is about two seconds and dissappear very soon. I have no idea why it's happening and I will explore it. I'm sorry.

Hi Petr,
Yes, so do I, but it's indeed very annoying. I've sent you (e-mail) the messages I get when I open CQRLOG in a terminal window. Many message appear, but I'm unable to understand their meaning !
TU for your help;

Hi Ian
Hi, I cured the problem by changing the computer ! 73 Luc F6HJO
I seem to have cured this slow running problem by changing fonts from 'default' to the ones shown in the help file, looks nicer too. Maybe a coincidence but seems to have worked :-)
