The latest version appeared to install fine via Ubuntu Software Centre.
Launching the program I get a main window with no drop-down menus or graphics. A second window allows a log to be opened. Openning log 001 & adding a callsign does not list the log entry. Entering the same callsign again offers no duplicate error.
I can't see anywhere to enter my station details or get help. I don't think this has installed properly.

Faulty installation?
I'm a real novice at this program but recall something like what you describe when I first began trying CQRLog. See if you can import a log from your previous program (I used .adif from Xlog), and try working with it. Your installation might be fine. Getting started in CQRLog seems a little awkward.

You will find the places to add your station info. Click file, then preferences. This is where all your settings are. If you want to see your qso's click on qso list, this is also where you will do lotw and eqsl uploads as well as other qsl activities. You have to set up the logger to see previous qso'qso's on main screen. Just take your time and keep asking questions. And we will help. Also I foumd it better to download the program from this site. Then right click and open with gdeb loader. If you are using Ubuntu you will need to get gdeb loader from the software center, Mint it is installed by default. HTH Tom

Thanks for responding John & Tom. I'll try re-installing & see how it goes.
