Hi,
I am running CQRLOG 1.9.0 on Xubuntu LTS 14.04.
Recently, in XFCE Settings I changed my preferred browser to something different than Firefox. All programs that call a browser are obeying nicely except for CQRLOG.
When I run CQRLOG from a terminal emulator with the --debug=1 argument and click on the QRZ.com info button, I see a line indicating that CQRLOG is hardwired to calling Firefox:
Command line: firefox http://www.qrz.com/db/ON4AA
Suggested solution:
Open a URL with the xdg-open command, which is desktop-independent and respects user preferences.
Command line: xdg-open http://www.qrz.com/db/ON4AA

Browser preference for Firefox hardwired in CQRLOG
Hi Serge,
you can change the browser at Preferences -> Program -> Default webrowser. I'm going to change it to use xdg-open.

I cannot open my new browser.. Using version 1.9.1
Here is my entry for Default web browser:
"/usr/share/applications/FlashPeak Slimjet"
If i got to folder, i can double click icon and start browser.
Ideas?
Thanks,

Thanks Petr, that did it!
I had been mistakenly looking under Preferences -> Program ->External Viewers -> HTML files
Works fine now with xdg-open to track my default browser.
