Confirm Exit

Please add the option for a "Confirm Exit" dialog when you click the close (X) button of a window.

Normally I am used to loggers with the main window being the list (Log4OM) and when I want the new QSO window to go away I naturally close it. This exits the whole program. An optional Confirm Exit dialog would relieve this.

Confirm Exit

Hi Kirk!

That would not be very had to do. I think that is not problem for users that have used cqrlog for long time.
Maybe similar selection to preferences/auto backup as "ask before creating a backup".

Could even be that same preferences tab renamed to "Exit and auto backup" and then having checkbox "ask before exit" (default unchecked) could be less annoying for long time users, but allowing this feature on request.

Re: Confirm Exit

Hi Kirk,

go to Preferences -> Auto backup -> Check Enable autobackup after program ends and Ask before creating a backup.

CQRLOG will ask if you want to close it without backup or just close or do nothing. The easiest way to clear the New QSO window is hit ESC twice.

Re: Confirm Exit

Hi!

Should we fix the text of preferences and the confirmation dialog.

Like:
Preferences left sidebar: "Exit & Auto backup"
Preferences tab:"Enabling auto backup and Ask first prevents accidental closing program"
confirmation dialog line #2: "Cancel, returns to program"

And then , of course, few words to help file about this.

I actually did not remember it as I¨ have never used confirmation of auto backup. Just remembered that there is only mb_YesNo.

I can do it at same time when fixing wslt-x remote bug https://www.cqrlog.com/node/2061
