QSO Date and QSO times-SOLVED

The numerals showing the date and times for qso's are too large. In order for them to fit within the box I have to uncheck the default box but then all the font size on the entire qso window size decreases.

Hi!
Depends your Linux version.

First and easiest way is just press keyboard key "Print Screen". In my Linux (Fedora 30) it opens a dialog that asks if I want to grab whole screen, active window, or self defined rectangular area of screen. After selection and accept it asks where and with what name I like to save it, or just copy it to clipboard.

This forum accepts png or jpg format image uploads (under the text edit area).

There are also other programs. In my start menu/additional programs I have a program "Spectacle" that works in similar way as the one that is linked to keyboard "Print Screen" button, but must be launched from that menu.

Hi!
That is just what I thought. NewQSO form has fixed size columns.
Making them stretch leads to form that soon does not fit to display. Even alone.
You do not normally need date and time. They are taken from PC clock. Only when manually importing qsos from paper log they may be needed.
Even when you can not see all you can type in needed date and time. Text will horizontally scroll. Decreasing font size is the only way to see them full.

By the way, you are using old version 2.3.0 . Please update it to latest one 2.4.0. See the download section of this web page.

Yes one does not normally

Yes one does not normally need date and time but I happen to like knowing when the qso started and the length of that qso during that qso.

Three days ago I installed the "OLD" version from cqrlog ppa and it's working very well. Somewhat apprehensive to install the newest version at this time! Curious what are the latest updates of advantage with the newer version.

Under File/Preferences/Fonts

Under File/Preferences/Fonts Uncheck Default Settings does make all the fonts smaller in the boxes. Smaller than I would like but it does allow one to see the entire script.
