Dear Saku,
Good practical windows with ergonomic organization example for a logbook is the first Logger 16bits version lgr807 by 9K2ZZ.
All you need in one screen...
https://www.logger32.net/files/lgr807.zip
You could find it and run it under wine as XP.
So could you test it and take many good ideas...
Then Logger32 becomes a gaz factory as many logbooks now...
Wintest by F6FVY & F5MZN is a good example of ergonomic logging also, specialized for contest...
Test version here: http://download.win-test.com/v4/demo/wt-4.33.0-demo.exe
At your opinion.

Hi Laurent!
The first link does not run under wine (Fedora32) (winevdm.exe error)
The demo program runs. It has more statistics than cqrlog (that is not contest program) but I would say that entering contest qsos with cqrlog's contest window is more ergonomy than with this demo. May be that because I know cqrlog better it makes it easier for me to use.
Just worked 55 qsos on Sunday morning in OK/OM-DX contest with cqrlog and it's contest window.
Now simulated same contest with this demo.
Entering a qso needs more keystrokes with demo than with cqrlog/contest window. Cqrlog has working cw macros, also for contest. Demo may have them also, but without more study they can not be found,
Cqrlog has now cabrillo export. Very basic, but works. After contest I just set up filter to find OK/OM qsos from log, exported to cabrillo and uploaded to contest upload web page. Easy and fast.
You have now the DXCC rebuild test version cqrlog. Take a look at it's contest window and cabrillo export. They may be different from what you had with your previous version of cqrlog.
Unfortunately I sent only the cqrlog program to you, your help files are not at same level now as the program.

Hello dear Saku,
My apologizes to not use the good words to be correctly understood by you...
You are right about the "ergonomy" in terms of number of actions, time spending etc... of the contest window of CQRLOG.
And strong congrats for the incredible number of supported contests by CQRLOG !! +++
My words were about the log windows screen, where there is a lot "empty space" around enter fields as in the "New Qso" windows i.e.
In this spirit, I had given you some example of "compact windows" for the concept of "all infos on one screen" like on Logger or Win-Test, specially interesting for portable computer and seems more comfortable for I than multiple windows.
But it also true that at home, the standard is to have two or three screens more so that is not an issue...
Thanks again for the ham community gift with CQRLOG, which have frequent improvements with strong support.

Ok dear Laurent!
I got i now!.
Well, cqrog does not support those contests in way you may think. They are just name list to select a name for contest. Or you can write any own name for contest.
Cqrlog is not contest program and it does not count scores or multipliers. Just logs qsos.
Cabrillo export has limited settings that can be changed and it calculates some common statistics from exported qsos.
But ergonomy, meaning display view, is quite flexible also when you have several windows.
You can resize almost all of them.
Windows like NewQSO and QSO list can be minimized during the usage of contest window. Also remote modes can be used without their (possible) windows showing and NewQSO minmized, QSO list closed.
Small size windows can be moved along display screen just like in your demo.
The difference is the background that in demo was clean. With cqrlog you see desktop image, but it can also be set to one color and all icons removed as programs can be started from start menu (bottom left).
But you are right that operating with laptop the display is rather small. Then yo uhave to think about what windows you keep visible. As said quite may of them can be minimized during use and expanded only when there is need to use them.
