LOTW, EQSL and 64 Bit CQRLog/Ubuntu

I'm using Ubuntu 12:04 (Precise Pangolin) 64 bit. I've installed CQRLog, but cannot upload files to either LOTW or eQSL.cc. I get the following error messages:

LOTW: NOT logged
Error: 0
Error: ssl_openssl

eQSL: Size:
NOT logged
Error: 0
Error: Host not found

I've downloaded/installed the getlib-all-deb file and have tried downloading/installing the 32 bit libraries/files, but am not sure I've got them all (or if they're installed). Is there anything else I can try? Can you give me a list of the 32 bit files I need to install?

I have CQRLog installed on a 32 bit machine and it works fine. The 64 bit machine is my main computer and it's a pain transferring files between the two.

Thanks in advance.

You don't need any 32bit library at all. CQRLOG has 64bit packages in my repo on Lauchpad or you can use deb files from this website. One of the dependencies is libssl-dev package. It seems this package is not installed in you system and after install DEB package, should be installed as well automatically.

Thanks for the speedy reply. I did check my system with synaptic package manager and the libssl-dev package is installed. I downloaded the CQRLog 1.5.8-1.deb package and installed it with Gdebi. It says that all dependencies are met and I still have the same error messages. Is there anything else I can try?

I've also just completely removed and reinstalled CQRLog and libssl-dev using Gdebi. I still have the same problem

I have no idea where could be a problem :-(. I use Kubuntu 12.04 64bit and don't have any problem at all.

Are you sure, your login and password are correct? I don't know what is wrong :-(.

for lotw upload/download you need the following packages:
libtqsllib1
trustedqsl

Not internet connection! or dns problem...
first connect to internet then start cqrlog

I've checked and rechecked my username and password for both LOTW and eQSL. Both are correct. Libtqsllib1 and trustedqsl are installed, the trusted qsl is version 1.13.3.
I've also connected to the internet and then started CQRLog and I still have the problem. :-(

On the eQSL window one of the errors is, "host not found". Could it be possible that the hostname used by CQRLog needs to be changed? I've tried both "localhost" and 127.0.0.1 in the server name window on the CQRLog sign-in/connect screen and still get the same error message on the eQSL upload/download area. It seems in can UPLOAD to LOTW, but can't download.

Everything working great here

Everything working great here, never had any trouble.
Have you tried re-installing the OS? Just a thought. I really have no clue, hope you get it working.
