Winkeyer 0.3

I have just downloaded Winkeyer Server 0.3 and I must say its great. Having tried many times to get cwdaemon to work and failed, Winkeyer server is perfect. I have one small buglet to report.

On first attempt to connect to the keyer I get the following error:

Keyer is NOT online
Error: (1000) WinKeyer USB inicialization failed

Clicking the "Open Keyer" button for a second time works and Winkeyer reports:

Keyer is online
Firmware version: 21

This is 100% reproducible so I guess Winkeyer is tripping over itself on the first handshake attempt.

One thing to note is that I'm using an RS232 K1EL keyer with a USB serial cable, I don't know if thats relevant but thought I ought to mention.

It would be great if in a future version, Winkeyer could autoconnect to the keyer on startup.

Winkeyer 0.3 howto?

Sorry for kinda stealing your topic but how do I proceed after downloading and unpacking? So far I moved the files in the same folder structure to /usr/bin but trying to run from the commandline but all I get is an error:
winkey_server: error while loading shared libraries: libgdk_pixbuf-2.0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I am using Mint 14 64 bits. Can you help me on my way?

Re: Winkeyer 0.3 howto?

The WinKeyer is now only 32bit app. There is no problem to create 64bit version. This week I'm very busy, and I'll spend whole weekend out of Internet or with only very slow connection. I'm going to create new version next week.

That would be amazing Petr! Take your time but I'm looking forward to it.
