That is frequency indicator :). It has been available sice version 1.6.0

I'm sorry, it new feature from 1.7.1, it can filter bandmap spots according to band and mode from new QSO window.
 
As far as I know there is support for it but I don't know any details. I don't have this device at home and don't know how it works.
