While I'm debugging why cqrlog suddenly won't start for me, can anyone share how to retrieve qso info for QSOs?
For example, how would I retrieve all qsos info since 24 Dec 2013? I'm trying to catch up on QSLs and cannot start cqrlog at the moment, but mysql is running fine.
Tnx es 73!

SQL to retrieve qsos?
Hi Mike,
I suppose it won't be easy to get data in common format like csv without CQRLOG running. What about version 1.7.0? Did it work?

Hi Petr,
The problem is fixed! It turns out the current version of glibc (yes, believe it or not) has a small bug in strstr.c. A 'static' variable must be a 'static inline'. After patching, recompiling libc, and installing all is well.
The bug happened to affect acroread, java programs, and also java web start programs.
Now cqrlog-1.7.1 is happily running again & I can spend my time on the error instead of hacking. :-)
Many thanks for interest in the bug, when it turns out the problem was elsewhere.

I meant to say, "can spend my time on the -air-". :-)
Hi Mike,
thanks Got for more user friendly distributions like Kubuntu :). Gentoo is not for me. I had been using Arch for some time but it was before I had a family and even before I started to work on Linux version of CQRLOG. Long time a go. CQRLOG has been available for 7 years ...

You're right, Petr, that gentoo is not especially friendly. And maybe I'm a little warped, but I love it because it's easy to tinker with. The result of also deciding to run the so-called "unstable" version means getting packages in the very latest state. Every now & then, of course, that comes back to haunt you - like when a bug creeps into libc!
I'm doubly happy now that not only has cqrlog been running fine again, but it now contains a shiny, new entry for the Amsterdam Island DxPedition. :-)
