I have backed up my log, started a new version of CQRLog and a different machine and want to re-install the backup data from the backup file. MY OS is Bodhi (ubuntu fork). How is the best way to do this?

uploading a backup file
What kind of backup file do you have? If it's ADIF, import it in QSO list window. If you have backuped ~/.config/cqrlog directory, delete new one and unpack there the directory from backup.

Petr, It is a tar file.
And what is inside the tar file? It's from autobackup of CQRLOG? If yes, it's standard ADIF file only compressed. Extract the file inside and import it to CQRLOG as adif file.
