Thetrxcontrole of my icom ic-7300 is working with me.
I am working with linux mint 18.
I have first uninstald cqrlog and ham lib.
Then i have instald libhamlib2_3.0.1-1_amd64.deb
Then you can do rigctl -l..
Then i have instald cqrlog
373 Icom IC-7300 0.7.2 Stable
put this in preferences and it works
,now it works all ok with me.
I am using a Raspberry Pi 3 and have installed CQRLog 1.8.2. from the package. I have also installed Hamlib 3.0 from source and have confirmed (command line) rigctld can connect and use the Icom 7300, but cannot get my Icom 7300 working with CQRLog. I get a configuration error. I have tried many settings. Can you tell me the settings you use, ie., baud, data bits, stop, parity, handshake, dtr, rts, anything extra in the command line, poll rate?
Maybe it just won't work because I have an older version of CQRlog and Hamlib 3.0, I don't know??
Thanks, any help is greatly appreciated.

Rich, K0PIR

Rich, et al,
What are your settings in your 7300? I've got the daemon running fine now, but am not getting responses from the rig.
Thanks,

Thanks, and 73.
Hi,
I was going to upload a snapshot, but it won't let me. Basically it's this:
RigCtldArgs:-m 373 -r /dev/ttyUSB0 -t 4532 -s 9600
--set-conf=serial_handshake=None,dtr_state=OFF,rts_state=OFF
Okay?

Thank you, Rich. This is exactly what i was looking for.
I'm going to investigate doing this over single USB cable, however, before beating my head against the wall, I'll likely order the missing CI-V cable.
Thanks again for the link!

Thanks, and 73.
That's great, I use two cables with Windows, but just the one (USB) with the Raspberry Pi now. I've used two cables with the RPi3 and it's FB.
Best 73!
