Do you have to do anything special when your callsign changes? Does this affect LOTW uploads? Do the old entries have your old callsign attached to it?

What do you do when your callsign changes?
No responses? Is this a silly question?
Not silly but off-topic. Ask in a general ham radio forum. LoTW - ask the help desk. AFAIK a call change does not affect LoTW.

What I mean is do I need to install a new instance of cqrlog and install it so I have my correct callsign attached? Or do I just have to do my final uploads and just change the call in the log?
Both should work but the final word should say the LoTW staff. As far as I know your DXCC can be added regardless of the call used, assumed that your QTH remains within a 200 mile (??) circle.
I am afraid that you should ask somewhere and then decide what to do. I am not sure if there is a user who changed his call by now. You also did not say what you want, if you want your DXCC/WAS/USADAC/etc. merged for both calls or if you plan to terminate the old call log and start a brand new log starting from zero. For the first option I would continue (and ask for new LoTW certificate), the second choice requires another CQRLOG instance.
Martin,
Once again, your amazing program has already sorted it out for me! I just need to upload, and since the program auto-marks when I uploaded, I don't have to worry about anything. Then I just change the callsign in the options in cqrlog.
As for LOTW, you just generate two certificates with a start date, and modify your other certificate with an end date with tqslcert. The signing of the file links the two together, and will take care of any DXCC awards, etc.
Eqsl, you just tie the two call sign accounts together.
Thanks again for your help and your wonderful program!
