Mint 20 and CQRLOG windows

Since I upgraded to Mint 20 Cinnamon and compiled the latest version of CQRLOG the way the windows act is different. The windows I use are New QSO, DX Cluster, RBN Monitor, TRX Control, and DK0WKY Propagation. In previous versions of Mint when I clicked on the CQRLOG icon in the task bar (when the program was running but minimized) all of the windows would come up. But now when I do that only the NEW QSO window comes up. If I hover over the icon in the task bar I see the other windows but i have to click them one at a time to get them all back full screen. It's a pain in the rear. I'm pretty sure this is a feature of Mint 20 but I can't figure out how to change it so i can maximize the entire set of windows with one click. I'm sure I'm missing something easy!!

Mint 20 and CQRLOG windows

Hi Bill!

It must be somewhere in desktop properties.

In my LXDE desktop's task bar I do as follows:

Right click on empty part of task bar, select taskbar settings with left click.
check "combine many program windows to one button" (translation from Finnish)

Then I have just one cqrlog button no matter how many windows cqrlog has open.

If all windows are closed (but program running) one click of that button opens selection list of windows.
If I select "New qso" that is the main window, parent for all others, all windows will open.
When all are open and I click "New qso" from task bar the first click will bring New qso window to top.
Next click will close all windows.

Selecting any other (child) window from taskbar button's list will affect only to that window, not all.

Hi Saku,

Hi Saku,

I'm not finding desktop properties or taskbar settings anywhere. I will keep looking but it may have something to do with the Cinnamon desktop which I have not used before. I always used the Mate desktop but thought I would try Cinnamon. I'll keep looking or I may kust lad and run the Mate desktop and see how it does.

Thanks again for your help!
