Install problem

I have been using CQRLog for several months and been more than pleases with the program. However, recent computer problems necessitated reloading the operating system. (Linux Mint 20.1, Xfce). I had my /home folder on a separate drive, so I have access to all my data.

I used the following: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ok2cqr/ppa;sudo apt-get update;sudo apt-get install cqrlog (which I found on "Recent version of CQRLOG" page of this website). All goes will until:

Preparing to unpack .../14-cqrlog_2.5.2-1~focal_amd64.deb ...
Unpacking cqrlog (2.5.2-1~focal) ...
dpkg: error processing archive /tmp/apt-dpkg-install-VksvP9/14-cqrlog_2.5.2-1~focal_amd64.deb (--unpack):
trying to overwrite '/usr/share/cqrlog/changelog.html', which is also in package cqrlog-data 2.4.0-3
dpkg-deb: error: paste subprocess was killed by signal (Broken pipe)

Changes removed from /etc/apparmor.d/local/usr.sbin.mysqld
Restarting apparmor...

Errors were encountered while processing:
/tmp/apt-dpkg-install-VksvP9/14-cqrlog_2.5.2-1~focal_amd64.deb
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I can recover from this?

Thanks in advance,
Jim, K4JIM

Install problem

Hi Jim!

Remove package "cqrlog-data" first.
Then install new cqrlog from ppa:ok2cqr.

"cqrlog-data" package is not needed, Latest cqrlog holds all needed files in one package.
