How can I setup JTDX instead of wsjtx? I much prefer the JTDX layout.
I am relatively new to
Linux Mint 20 and CQRLog.

cqrlog and JTDX
Hi Bob,
If you have WSJTX working with cqrlog, configure JTDX with the same UDP port and IP-number and start using JTDX.

The two columns at the low part of window must have same numbers as you have in preferences/fldigi/wsjt interface.
And the checkboxes checked if you want to start qso from cqrlog's CQ-monitor by double clicking callsign line.

Thank you both I appreciate it I was trying to do the impossible and figure out how to replace the wsjtx location to the jtdx location in the "remote start wsjtx. Again thanks.

Yes. If you like JTDX to start when you set "wsjt remote" on at cqrlog you just need to replace preferences/fldigi wsjt interface/ Path to wsjtx content from "usr/bin/wsjtx" to "/usr/bin/jtdx"(or what ever the path to your jtdx program is)
But of course also the address (usually 127.0.0.1 ) and port (usually 2237) must be same at both configs cqrlog's and jtdx's. And additionally those checkboxes checked at jtdx's end if you like to start qos from cqrlog's monitor.

Thank you Saku That worked great. It took some snooping around to find the correct path for the JTDX.exe file but hey that is part of the learning curve in Linux I guess.
I am fairly new to the Linux world all together but I am enjoying the Mint Cinnamon environment. I use the Synaptic Package manger to find the package, selected it then right clicked and selected properties, then files. That got me the location. I copy pasted and it was done. I could have used the browse function but I did not know where to look. This os and these programs are located on a 14 inch Asus laptop I converted from Windows10 to a dual boot Windows !0 Linux Mint one. Now that I have my feet wet my intentions are to start working on a Raspberry Pi 400 and Manjaro XFCE. I think that might act very similar to the Mint Cinnamon environment. No matter what I have to try something different on the pi. If anyone here has been messing with that os let me know.

After a while you can roll over the dual boot and keep the Linux side, hi.
Easiest way to find program file is to use command console and type in:
whereis jtdx
Type:
man whereis
And you get information about parameters that can sort out files from directories when using command whereis.
Although it may feel old fashioned the command console is the best tool for linux.
Quite many linux GUI tools are based on text commands and their graphical GUIs just "type console commands behind".
That is why I have always said that one must first learn to do commanding with command console. After that graphical user interfaces can be used when one knows what happens behind.
Today Google makes living easy. Just make a question and add word Linux to question and push it to Google like:

Sku I have been an Amateur Radio operator for over 20 years. A lot of what we do is computer based as you certainly know. The one issue I have is that my ears hear absolutely fine when on ssb out my ears and brain disconnect when I hear dits and dahs! CW tones just do not make letters in my head no matter how many times I try to learn so I rely on great software. I use FLDigi or DM780 to send my cw, depending on if I am at home or running portable in a park. I use CW Skimmer to decode hand sent CW. So that is the sole reason the machine was built as a dual boot machine. I just got a Raspberry PI 400 today to mess with. I have been helping a friend with his Pi 4 4 gig and have run into issues using Jason's package KM4ACK. I was trying to deal with the TSQAL (sorry I forget the exact name for the database files) no longer working. This was with version 2.1.2 I fixed this in my Mint so the CQRLog program worked but on Jason's stuff I cold not find a way to update the package to the latest so it won't let me download a newer version. I tried the command line commands to upgrade or update it but it kept telling I had the latest. I tried installing it from Firefox that failed and I tried whatever Jason has in their that is supposed to work kinda like the Synaptic program manager. No dice. That is when we decided to go to Manjaro xfce.

If understood ok KM4ACK has done a SD card image that includes all needed HAm radio programs for Rpi.
Latest cqrlog seems to be 2.3.0 at least with official RPi package sources.
I also just got RPi 4b and have added cqrlog official for RPi version to my Alpaha test pages. That version is directly from Petr's source without any extras. An it is the latest that source can offer.
Look at https://github.com/OH1KH/cqrlog/tree/loc_testing/compiled and download newupdate.zip
You need to have a working version of cqrlog, no matter what version number is. Then start newupdate.sh at Rpi console and select option for RPi update and it will download an install it.
How ever: Do backup from your SD before trying it. Just in case something goes wrong.
With TSQAL you perhaps mean program for LoTW updates. That is the one I have not yet tested with my new RPi.
