If you enable contest window (NewQSo/Window/contest then contest fileds are visible in NewQSO. You may have to stretch the window horizontally.
Then you can select a qso from "QSO list" and press button "edit qso" and you can change also contest messages.
If you want to change same contest message to several qsos first select them by "QSO list/Filter/Create" or select them by mouse click with Ctrl-key pressed from qso list. After that select "QSO list/File/Group edit" select the filed you want to change and the content you want to put there then press apply.
Note that there is no "undo". So check that when group edit window opens it says to affect to filtered qsos and do backups before you change anything.
I never checked that window because I don't use CQRlog for operating. I have other lightweight tools for that. For me, CQR is the "central database manager". Data is imported from other sources and CQR is used to integrate it all, add notes and comments to QSOs, attach info from QRZ's database, show statistics, and keep track of LotW, eQSL, paper, etc. (This is why correct operation of ADIF import is the most important thing for me.)
