Incorrect date format error

Hi, new to CQRlog and hear a lot of good things about it. I'm trying to migrate from Windows and looking for Radio software to replace the ones I use in Windows. I've installed Zorin OS 16 Pro and installing software for Amateur radio. I installed the latest version of CQRLog, but when I enter a call and all the pertinent info and press enter to log it gives me a "Incorrect Date Format Error". I didn't enter a date because it was automaticically inserted by the program. eg 2022-08-17. It won't log the call until I correct it, but I don't know how it wants it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks VE9ZZ.

Incorrect date format error

Hi!
It would be nice to know your Cqrlog's version and version date.
Easiest to get it is to start it from command console by just typing cqrlog
You should see something similar like:

[saku@hamtpad ~]$ cqrlog

Cqrlog Ver:2.6.0 (103) QT5 Date:2022-07-25
**** DEBUG LEVEL 0 ****
**** CHANGE WITH --debug=NR PARAMETER ****
*** Parameter -h or --help for details ***

OS:
Linux version 5.18.10-100.fc35.x86_64 (mockbuild@bkernel01.iad2.fedoraproject.org) (gcc (GCC) 11.3.1 20220421 (Red Hat 11.3.1-2), GNU ld version 2.37-17.fc35) #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Thu Jul 7 17:41:37 UTC 2022

If your Cqrlog version is below 2.5.2 there might be unfixed error with the dates. I remember I have found and fixed one date bug somewhere in past.

How ever I have seen similar errors few times even with my current version of Cqrlog. Very seldom how ever.
Usually then also the "QSO list" shows qsos without any dates at all.
This is an error that I have not managed to catch because it happens so seldom and after restart of Cqrlog it disappears and all qsos have their proper dates again on "QSO list".

Do you have this error all the time, or does it disappear after Cqrlog is restarted?
