Little issue with the contest window in CQRLOG 2.60

Hello ,
when I open the contest window in above mentioned version 2.60, I can´t write in my DOK (one letter, 2 numbers) to the serial number box. In some contests I have to do this. As workaround, I write the DOK in the message box and put it with copy and paste into the serial number box, this works. Is this a bug or for safety reasons.

Except this little issue the version 2.60 runs nearly perfect. Thanks a lot for your work.

Hi Hardy!

Did you read Help? It is not issue, it is property.

Serial number column NRs/NRr (SRX/STX) is meant for qso serial number and you can not type in other characters than numbers. Do not try to invent ways to go round this.

If you need DOK for contest message it should be placed to MSGs (STX_String) column and leave NRs column empty.
DOK is not number, it has letters and that makes it string. (I.E. Message).

In Cabrillo export you then choose:
info sent: Exhange1/stx_string and Exhange2/leave empty
info rcvd: Exhange1/srx and Exhange2/Srx_string

At rcvd side Exhange1 is for nonGerman-German qsos and Exhange2 for German-German qsos. At send side you always send only MSGs(=stx_string) that is your DOK or "NM"

With CW memories macro %xrs (full contest exchange RST+SerialNR+Message sends 9->N and 0->T) works perfectly also when either serial number or message is empty.
It passes empty part and it does not affect to cw output.

Hi Saku,
thanks for the helpful answer, I really appreciate it. Of course, I didn´t read the Help, I have to do it next time :-(.
Thanks again for your excellent work.
