Hello Again .....
You can display the distance information between you and the Station worked, in the panel below the QSO List.
But, is it possible to get this information saved into the logbook itself and to display as a log entry, in a column in the QSO List ?

HI!
First you have to set your locator and QSO must have also locator (grid column).
2nd Qso list/View/detail panel must be visible (there seems to be a bug at least in Alpha when checkbox is checked but panel is not visible. Recheck fixes visibility)
3rd preferences/Visible columns/Distance (in pnl) must be checked.
Then you can see the distance for selected QSO, that has locator, in Qso list detail panel.
Distance is calcualted "on fly" and there is no database table column for saving the distance.
If you select qsos, and do an EDI export you can see distances there (again calculated "on fly")

Hi,
Is QRZ.com the base for distance calculation??
Very often the distance I see in CQRlog (QSO view) differs from what I see in QRZ.com.
I have the same locator entered in CQRloc preferences as well as on my QRZ.com profile.
Thnx

Hi Thomas
Distances are calculated from locators given. If locators are just 4 chars LL is added as 5th and 6th char. This should point into the middle of grid.
Specially with JT/FT you getonlu 4 char locator. Then at callbook you usually found 6chr locator vhere 5&6th letters differ from LL giving different distance.
Also roundings and accuracy in calculations may differ between Cqrlog and Qrz server.
How ever there should not be very big differences.
