Hello,
Recently I compiled a 64-bit V120 with QT5. All seems ok but there is one oddity. Every time I start CQRlog, FLRig starts too. This would not be bad as previously I always started CQRlog with a shell script that started FLrig before CQRlog. This was so the frequency from my rig would populate CQRlog. But there is a difference. The old way, with the shell script, all worked immediately. With V120, after CQRlog starts I need to click " Refresh TRX/ROT control" to make the rig freq populate the CRRlog field. Why is FLRig auto-starting when I start CQRlog? I suspect if that did not happen and I used my old shell script all would work as before.
BTW, I earlier built a 32-bit V119 GTK from the files from Saku. That version does not start FLRig automatically. It works just like earlier versions.
Thanks

HI Ricke!
Cqrlog does not start Flrig. It has no idea how to do that. It must be one of your scripts laying behind there.
Check your scripts, please. Could it be that 32bit version was so slow to start that everything happened in right order?
add "sleep(3)' or something after Flrig start, before Cqrlog is launched.

Saku,
Thanks for the tips. Turns out I must have been trying to get my script to run with the startup of CQRlog via start.sh. I honestly don't recall doing it but since no one else uses this Pi, it had to be me. (smh)I got rid of start.sh and all works great.
Thanks again for all your support.

I thoroughly enjoyed your article. For me, this is an excellent piece of paper. I bookmarked it and will return to read any fresh content.
