how do I change too the big earth picture in the log program ?
The image itself is located in the cqrlog/images folder. It must be BMP format, 512 x 256 pts. An alternate image is in the 'Additional files' section.
Copy your image into this folder, the old one should be overwritten. The file name MUST be BigEarth.bmp.
Well, I swapped over the BigEarth image, but no change to the prog?
I expected the grayline pic to change but nothing.
Where is this BigEarth image visible.?
There was BigEarth and the grayline image in the image folder., I have kept the original file names just swpped the file
Am i missing something?
The previous info is not actual anymore, it is from 2009. Now, the BigEarth.bmp is located in /home/user/.config/cqrlog/images folder. Or try to search the BigEarth.bmp file name within your /home/.
Mine is in /usr/share/cqrlog/images

Indeed, that is where I found mine (/usr/share/cqrlog/images) But i swapped the new BigEarth.bmp (leaving the original as BigEarth2.bmp there as a backup) but no change to the grayline image.
I left grayline.bmp as it was. Do I need to change this also?
I'm sure Im missing something obvious, apologies..

Not sure how I solved it myself. I remember replacing several instances of BigEarth.bmp before it worked.
My suggestion would be to take the advice from Martin OK1RR. Do a search and just replace (and maybe backup the originals) all BigEarth.bmp's you found. Should solve it because then there is no "old" file left to be loaded into CQRLog.

I think the code may be changed as now I need to change the name of the file in ~/.config/cqrlog/images from BigEarth.bmp to grayline.bmp and cqrlog picks up the new file when starting.
