How to export QSO for label printing?

Hi all,

I wonder if the procedure for label printing has changed. Yesterday I did some QSL work and marked abt 120 QSO with 'SB' (Send Bureau).
Today I want to print those marked QSO on QSLs, using a CSV file and gLabels:

CTRL-O (QSO list)
Menu 'QSL' --> Export for label printing

Then a dialogue box appears telling me "You do not have filter enabled or do not have QSO sorted by callsign! This could cause that you won't have more callsigns on one label andonly last 500 QSO will be printed. Do you want to continue?".

If I press 'Yes' only the actual marked QSO will exported in the dialogue box 'Export for label printing', although the entries for SB, SM and SMB are checked with a cross [X]. I think this behaviour is different to previous (beta) version. The behaviour of CQRLOG 1.0.0 and 1.0.2 is the same.

If I press 'No' the QSO list appears again.

If I create a filter which shows me all QSO marked with 'SB' I get the very same dialogue when I want to export them for label printing. But at least the QSO are exported to a CSV. The problem: they are not in alphabetical order. Next problem: If I create a filter with 'SB' and sort then by 'Callsign', the filter with 'SB' is deleted.

So, I'm a bit confused right now. How's the procedure to get my "SB" marked QSLs in alphabetical order in a CSV file for an import in gLabels?

Re: How to export QSO for label printing?

Hi Ulf,

if you want to use Filter, please set QSL sent to SB and set Sort by to Callsign. Now, if you click to QSO -> Export for label printing no warning dialog will appear. On the top of the Export for label printing window is 'Export all QSOs' check box which you should check and all QSOs slected by your filtr will be exported do CSV for labels printing.

Re: Same problem

Hi Jyrki,

you can use filter as well. In QSL_S combobox select "S" and it means averything starting with "S" in QSL_S filed. But this won't work if you are using also SMD for direct QSL. Now you can go to QSL -> Export for label printing. Select Export all QSOs and you are ready to go.

There is also another way. Use filter to specific qso date interval, select sort by Call and apply filter. Now you can go to QSL -> Export for label printing. After window appears, please uncheck Export all QSOs if you have checked this option. Now you can select you want to export SB and SMB. Now only QSOs with SB or SMB will be exported.

Works fine!

Thanks again Petr!

I tried that first filter, and now I can get "SMB" for labels. Basic I don't need that SMD.
