Hi,
I have just installed cqrlog after a fresh 12.04 Ubuntu install.
The first experience with crqlog was not all that good as the package that appears in the standard repositories is quite old (1.2.2-2ubuntu1), and does not even start (a empty splash screen, then hang).
I did some searching on the forums and finally saw that the official installation procedure involves adding ok2cqr PPA, which I did not see before.
I know you all are long time users, so I wanted to let you guys know that the "fresh install path" may be unnecessarily difficult for new comers, and perhaps adding a more prominent notice of the install procedure in the site may help.
Hope this helps!
Now, hurry up to learn the new app and properly log these murky notes of the past 2 weeks!

I do not why, but clicking on "Download" on the left side bar yesterday did not take me to "http://www.cqrlog.com/download" and sent me to a not much related page.
I does now, so just forget my previous comment.
Oh, my.

Pablo, If you install "GDebi Package Installer (gdebi)" from the repositories then all you have to do is download the latest version then right click it and open with "gdebi installer" and it will install as well, however adding it to the repositories is the best way, then it will just update next time there is a new version out. Hello Pablo,
you are right about that. CQRLOG 1.2.2 from Ubuntu 12.04 should be replaced by version 1.4.1 very soon.
