CQRLog 1.5.6 & Ubuntu 13.04

After upgrading to Ubuntu 13.04 and installing CQRLog 1.5.6 I cannot get the rig control to talk to my Icom 746Pro, even after adding myself to the dialout group. All port parameters are set to default except the serial rate which is set to 19200 (same as the rig). Here is the output when opening CQRLog in the terminal:
mark@mark-desktop:~$ cqrlog
**** DEBUG LEVEL 0 ****
130624 11:53:04 [Note] Plugin 'FEDERATED' is disabled.
130624 11:53:04 InnoDB: The InnoDB memory heap is disabled
130624 11:53:04 InnoDB: Mutexes and rw_locks use GCC atomic builtins

New machine setup - how to backup and restore

Hello,

currently I'm using cqrlog 1.5.2 an an old Suse 11.4.

Now I want up update the Suse system (on fdisk level!!).

What files have I to backup so I don't loose any data or configuration stuff ?
What must I do to restore on the newly installed system ?

My logfiles are mysql in ~home/.config/cqrlog/database/cqrlog002.

Take over /opt/cqrlog/log_data/cqrlog.fdb from 0.9.6

Moin,

2 1/2 years ago I installed cqrlog from the binary distribution, because there was no distribution package for Debian (or I wasn't able to find it).

Anyhow: I want to install the version 1.5.2 from the ppa-ham-repository now. The question is: can I just copy my previous logfile /opt/cqrlog/log_data/cqrlog.fdb to /home/dd0ul/.config/cqrlog?

Is it just this single file? Or do I have to expect trouble because of a changed file format or so?

Thanks and 73 de dd0ul, Michael

1.5.6

Hi

Compiled version 1.5.6. Got some 133 warnings and 82 note... I could start
new version. But. Still can't use F-macros. I'm using WinKeyer usb with nanokeyer and
last version, where i can use F-macros is 1.5.4.
Any other testers noticed this, or am I only cw-user, hi :D

Have to downgrade back 1.5.4

What is the purpose of "Group By"

When applying a filter if I choose ...

Sort by: = Date + time
Group by: = Call

I expected all like call signs grouped together and sorted by date but this is not the case. Could someone please explain what output I should get from this.

What I am trying to achieve is to group by call and sort by date for qsl export. It seems that simply sorting by call is all I need to do and the last sort which is by date and time still applies but I would like to be sure.

Build Errors with 1.5.6

Howdy All,

I attempted to build 1.5.6 tonight. When make completed there were over one hundred warnings, but zero errors.

I ran make install and the command completed without any problems.

The problem however is when I run CQRLog, I receive the following error:

Invalid floating point operation.

Press OK to ignore and risk data corruption.
Press Cancel to kill the program.

If I press OK and continue on I will receive the same error when opening new windows.
