Command line arguments in TRX Control settings

I have mentioned here before how CQRLOG loses frequency sync with my older Kenwood TS-440S if I spin my VFO dial too fast. Requires that I power cycle the rig, then Refresh TRX/ROT control. However, I notice that FLDigi does not suffer from this same problem. Always regains sync after a quick spin of the VFO dial.

Cqrlog-Improved and QT5

Saku,

QT5 is obsolete, see below. I think that you should remove support for it from Cqrlog-Improved rather than trying to support a dead system.

Qt 5 is officially obsolete and reached its End of Life (EOL) for standard support in May 2023. The current standard is Qt 6, which offers vastly improved rendering performance, modern graphics pipeline support (Vulkan, Metal), and better cross-platform capabilities

CQRLOG dead after upgrade to Xubuntu 26.04

I had been running Xubuntu 25.10 and all was well with CQRLog. After the upgrade to 26.04, I'm getting the message: "TMySQL57Connection : Server connect failed."

The mysql.err has old entries from before I upgraded, but no new entries.

The following database components are installed: libmariadb-dev-compat mariadb-client mariadb-server mariadb-common

Any suggestions?

QRZ sync to CQRLOG.

Hi Saku!
Recently, after enabling QRZ on CQRLOG Alpha 142, I noticed that only QSOs after activation are synced, which I can update later. All previous QSOs are unsynced because I get an error related to the NO LOGIDS parameter, which blocks subsequent uploads. Currently, the only way to use QRZ on CQRLOG is to create a new log from scratch, but that's not the case for me; so I've gone back to manually uploading ADIF files to QRZ. Here's my question: Is it possible to add QRZ sync to CQRLOG?

CQRLOG failure, due to database connection?

I am trying to update from Ubuntu 22.04 to a clean install of Ubuntu 26.04, and therefore have to reinstall all apts including CQRlog 2.5.2-6 .
1. I installed Ubuntu 26.04 LTS and it behaves successfully.

2. I installed mariadb-server and mariadb-client with these terminal commands:
sudo apt install mariadb-server mariadb-client

3. I installed CQRlog with this command:
sudo apt install cqrlog

4. From the Ubuntu desktop, I open the CQRLOG application.

PstRotatorAz - Remote via IP?

Hi Folks,
Playing with PstRotatorAz for a remote connection. I have it working from two Windows PCs. to two Windows PCs. That part is easy. I wanted to see if I could get it to work with CQRLog to a Windows PC. I have messed with the al of the addresses, but no success. Can it be done, has anyone here done it?
Also, is there a to have some of the setting set? I know one of the is auto/manual. I see there is a way to set limits. Have not figured that out yet either.

Any extra help would be awesome!

Can't enter a frequency if Rig is turned off.

If there is a TRX rig defined and that rig is turned off, you can't manually enter a frequency. The keyboard input is immediately jumps back to zero.

That's a problem. If I make a contact on a rig that is not a TRX I can't manually enter the frequency. That sucks. I had to delete my rig in TRX to enter a frequency. Too much trouble to use TRX that way. That needs to be fixed.

Also, I see 2.5.2 version referred to as an old rev, but it is the one for download on your website. What's with that?
