I am running mint 21.1. I am using CQRLOG 2.6.0 (001) Gtk2. I have been using this for a while. Went to update or even create a QTH profile and do not have any way to save. The button at the bottom of the open window is not there. I do have a screen shot but do not see a way to attach.

Hi Ryan!
When you edit or create new profile (in preferences) all changes are saved when you close preferences from OK button at right side of window.
If you want to move all settings from your log 001 to other logs ( every log has it's own settings) you select log in Database connection window ( opens when Cqrlog starts) when log is selected, but not opened, press Utils/configuration/export and name file to export.
Then select another log, but not open it, and use Utils/configuration/ import and select exported config file you just created. Then log gets same settings as the other log had.
When you create a new log you have selection where you can set log number from where you copy settings. That way you can pass file export import.
But you need it if you fix already created logs settings to be similar as other log.

Above ' captcha' you see button 'choose file' press that and find your screenshot file. Must be jpg or png format.
When selected, press 'Upload' button and your image is attached.
Another way:
Below message editor is 'Text format' selector showing 'filtered HTML'
Change it to 'Full HTML' then you see text 'Enable rich-text' click that and you get editor with several functons.
If you have your image in clipboard you can insert it just with paste ( or pressing Ctrl-V)
Note that after 'Preview' you have to click again 'Enable rich-text' if you continue editing.

Saku,
Thank you. But I cannot edit the QTH profile. Cannot click ok with "Edit current QTH profile" open and there is no save button. If I close the "Edit current QTH profile" and click ok the profile update does not save. I am trying to edit it because it has locater as DM12 and should be DM12mu which it is in my station information.
This edit was prompted by the fact my location will not show up in xplanet with spots enabled and I do not know if that would fix it either.
Pic is uploaded. This is exactly how it looks in my cqrlog. Nothing to save the edit.
File:
Ok Ryan.
It looks like the window is cut from bottom.
I tested few versions 2.5.2 and 2.6.0(119) both gtk2 and 2.6.0(121) qt5
Gtk versions work ok, but qt5 version cutted half of save and cancel buttons in my laptop screen.
I will fix that in future version. Thanks for reporting!
As quick fix:
Check/uncheck and restore (touch) 'Show profile in list' checkbox to get it focused.
After that press Tab key once. Then press Enter key. Profile is saved.
It seems that Tab order needs also fixing. It is now Ok until Remarks. Then it goes Remarks-Show profile in list-Save-Cancel

Saku,
Got it. Your quick fix does indeed save the profile. Thank you. I will test a later version when it comes out. My location is still not showing up in xplanet but I can start a separate topic for that if needed.

HI Ryan!
I have fixed the profile edit view. At the moment it is available only in 2.6.0.(122) source.
I have been looking the xplanet today.
For me it did not work at all without adding line:
marker_file=/home/saku/.config/cqrlog/xplanet/marker
to file ~/.config/cqrlog/xplanet/geoconfig
Note: For line "marker_file" shorcuts
~/.config/cqrlog/xplanet/marker
or
$USER/.config/cqrlog/xplanet/marker
do not work. It must be "/home/username" format. At least it is so with my Fedora 38 version of xplanet.
After that spots work including also my own position. But that works only when source of spots is bandmap.
I will look why spot sources dxcluster and wsjtx do not add own position.

What i said about line "marker_file" is only partially true:
I tested it while Cqrlog was running and then it must have "/home/username" prefixed path.
After wrote last message I went back to source and noticed that there is a fix procedure for "marker_file" line.
But it is run ONLY at Cqrlog start, not if xplanet geoconfig is changed while Cqrlog is running.
Fix looks at "marker_file=" line and writes correct path and filename if found. It is enough to have only line:
marker_file=
Cqrlog will handle rest of line at startup.
It does not add that line if it does not exist.
Now I have also fixed show own location so that it shows up with all sources (dxcuster, bandmap and wsjt).
At the moment only in Alpha (122) source https://github.com/OH1KH/cqrlog/tree/loc_testing
