QTH profiles

I understand that QTH Profiles are mainly used for filtering, but what's the reasoning behind requiring a valid locator for QTH profiles? As far as I can see, there is no way to export locator/qth/rig to files like ADI. It also does not seem to set "my_loc" (not sure what even sets that particular field)

I am also having a problem filtering on QTH profile. You must explicitly clear the filter before selecting a QTH profile for it to work properly. I would expect that clearing the dialog would not be required since the dialog pops up in a cleared state initially (actually it would be better ff it remembered the last values, otherwise what's the point of a clear button). Another issue is that Shift-F12 should results in the same QSO list as clear filter / okay.

Thanks

QTH profiles

Hi!
Now it depends what version you are using, I think.
When I switch profile also "Myloc" at bottom of new qso changes and ADIF export tag <MY_GRIDSQUARE:6> contains changed locator.

About filter, "Remember filter keeps values you have set in previous definition:

What comes to Clear filter/OK buttons and Shift F12 you are right. Cleared filter should restore same viev as S+F12. I must check this.

thanks for pointing out "remember filter"

Hitting clear filter normally results in 1899-12-30 in from/to fields, but sometimes the fields are empty and sometimes the dates become is 9999-12-31.

Note: I have not used S-F12 - just defined the filter and hit okay.

When I open filter start date is always 1900-01-01 and end date is current date.
When I press Clear dates are set to ____.__.__

Very latest Alpha should say:

CQRLOG α (Alpha)
What is new:
(132)
TRXConrol:ADD/Modify radio memories:Fix: Allow -1 input for bandwidth (rigctld M -1 = keep current bandwidth)
QsoList:Create filter:Fix: Fixed filter clear so that button 'Clear' does not do it. Instead pressing OK after filter is cleared does the S+F12.
That way old filtering results can be kept if user press 'Cancel' after pressed first 'Clear'
'Clear' button is actually for clearing filter design sheet, not clearing the results.
QsoList:Create filter:Fix: Pressing button 'Clear' clears filter and now also releases previous filtering in QSOList (same as Shif+F12)

have latest code from Master and still 119

Saki,

Your previous message seems to indicate that you made some fixes and the latest Alpha version is now 132. I checked out Master branch from github and I have Cqrlog Ver:2.6.0_(119)_Gtk2 Date:2023-10-03.

Am I missing something?

HI Mark!

That is the situation.
I have not done pull requests any more to Master and started to call my version CqrlogAlpha.
Differences between sources are now around +500 commits more for CqrlogAlpha.

It is a bit same situation as there is with official "WSJT-X" and then there is "WSJT-X Improved" by Uwe, DG2YCB.
He has also his own files on sourceforge, but not clearly separated product and no official web pages for his version.
