Hi Benny!
Because you have cut the first line(s) away I can't see what version of Cqrlog you are running.
How ever from rigctld -m 3078 I can see that your rig is IC-7610
There are quite many questions to ask:
You have set serial speed to 19200 bps. Are you sure that same speed setting is in rig's internal configuration?
7610 has many ways to connect to a PC: LAN, USB 1 and Ci-V (with external PC adapter)
Are you sure that correct connection socket is selected from rig's internal configuration?
If you think settings are correct also at rig's end then start Cqrlog in debug mode and once you see it is polling with "fmv"
open another command console and start Telnet keeping Cqrlog running on other console.
telnet localhost 4532
You should see similar like this:
[saku@hamtpad ~]$ telnet localhost 4532
Trying 127.0.0.1...
Connected to localhost.
Escape character is '^]'.
if you type f (enter):
f
28074000
You should see the frequency from rig.
If nothing happens give quit(enter)
quit
and you should see:
Connection closed by foreign host.
Open Telnet connection again and give "f currVFO"
Trying 127.0.0.1...
Connected to localhost.
Escape character is '^]'.
f currVFO
28074000
If either one "f" or "f currVFO" does not show anything I strongly guess that your serial speed is incorrect (Cqrlog setting and rig setting differs)
Or you have not configured right output port (LAN USB1, CI-V) from rig configuration.
It could also be that CI-V address of rig does not correspond the default one rigctld uses without parameter
-c, --civaddr=ID set CI-V address, decimal (for Icom rigs only)
If you want to be sure about that check the ci-v address from rig settings, then add parameter --civaddr=XXX to Cqrlog "Extra command line arguments"
Where XXX is decimal number of ci-v address.
NOTE: rig setup shows number in hexadecimal format. You have to convert it to decimal for parameter value.
I do not speculate further. Those things must be checked first.
If all that is in order, or you did already get frequency response from either one of Telnet tries, then we can continue from that point.
