could you check what is changed for me: after upgrade to 1.4 my ubuntu not connect to FT-450, but fldigi connection PC to rig is working correctly.
Maybe s/g wrong w/h rigctld - I haven*t got it (despite solved dependancies).
Any idea?

I have the same problem in ubuntu 10.04 LTS and I don't now what is going on.
The problem appeared after the upgrade to version 1.4.1
Now i'm back to version 1.3.1 and all is ok.

could you wite, how to downgrade from 1.4.1 to 1.3.1?

please add Ubuntu hams ppa from launchpad
https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-hams-updates/+archive/ppa
there is recent hamlib version also for lucid and it could solve the problem.

Peter - sounds well, but ver 1.3.1 I didn`t find in Kemal`s lib. File you have here in "Older versions" gives error msg "Vnitřní chyba - soubor nelze otevřít". Of course, ppa is installed, but it goes to 1.4.1, for me.
Have u any pointer working?

good idea, but I hadn`t found really working ver. 1.3.1 neither in Peter`s lib here nor Kamal lib. recommended by Peter. Where is yours one? Thanks.
