Problem with TRX Control on my TS-940

Hello all - I have a TS-940 and cannot get the TRX to see my radio.  I am using an FTDI USB to RS232 device which worked fine under Windows so I know the device is good.
I am not sure what I put into the Device block in the TRX setup under Preferences.  I was going to use /dev/ttyUSBX (where X would be my USB port) but I am not sure which one it is.
Here is the output from my "lsusb" command:  BTW I  am using Ubuntu 12.04(LTS)

I have bolded my FTDI USB device.  Can anyone tell me what ttyUSB number my FTDI device is to be set to ?
I tried /dev/ttyUSB9 and /dev/ttyUSB09 and neither one works.
When I boot up in Windows, it sees the USB FTDI device as COM 8.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Phil,

after you plug-in USB to serial please enter dmesg command to terminal. You'll what USB devide will be assigned. Also please check if you are member of dialout group.
