Everything I type is displayed with double chracters or numbers. This includes the preferences setup and on the log window. I have completely removed and reinstalled CQRLOG with the same results. Can anyone help me with a solution?

OK Petyr..I'll look into that... Meanwhile...
Just installed Ubuntu 14.10 GNOME and the latest cqrlog version works FB!!!..
so appears the UBUNTU UNITY desktop which is causing the double text problem.. but I'll re-install the UNITY desktop using 14.10 and re-check your input.. Thankx...
