I was getting an error when downloading QSLs from eQSL, and followed advice given to someone else about running CQRLog from the console to see what the message was. It appears that special characters in the parameters added to the URL being used to download the file aren't being properly escaped, and I was getting the error because my password contained some of them. Changing my eQSL password to something that doesn't contain any URL special characters resolved the problem.

Thank you for bugreport! I'll fix it to new CQRLOG version.

No problem! It looks like the same bug affects the LoTW QSL download feature as well. I implemented the same workaround there, and now that's working perfectly.
Hello, I use cqrlog 1.9.0.
Before short time I created an eqsl account and tried to download the eqsls. Then I had problems downloading the eqsls. The problem was that I had a "+" in my eqsl password. After changing the password (now without a "+" in it ) it worked. This seems to be a bug.
73s and thanks for that great program,
Andi
Hi,
I hope the bug is fixed and now special characters are allowed both in eQSL and LoTW password. Build with the fix will be available in http://cqrlog.com/forum/6 on the weekend. You can try it.
