Just updated to Mint 20 and wanted to add the PPA.
Error Message (bad Translation from German): PPA could not added. This PPA doesn't support focal.
PPA kann nicht hinzugefügt werden: »'Dieses PPA unterstützt focal nicht'«

HI!
You can always install from tar ("other systems" at the end of download page).
https://www.cqrlog.com/comment/7573#comment-7573
Then you just need to manually install depended packages before, or after you have installed from cqrlog .tar
I would try to install just cqrlog first. With good luck you have all dependencies installed. If not, just add the requred ones.

The linuxmint focal repository has CQRlog 2.4.0-3 allready.
So you can install it from there....
I tried this, but the package has a link to mysql in it, and therefor will install it.
The newer versions compared to LM19.3 will break things and CQRlog will not start.
To get it working (it starts and imports a log, did not test more yet) i installed MariaDB, and deleted the cqrlog folder in /home/username/.config (as i did not have anything in it yet)
Starting it then gave me a working CQRlog
I confirm PA1SBM suggestion. Just upgraded Mint 18.3 -> 19.0 -> 19.3 -> 20 -> 20.1. MySQL is broken. Had to satisfy dependencies for Mariadb first before installing mariadb-server and mariadb-client. All is working now.

HI Mark!
But are you now on 2.5.1(001) or older version?

Okay. I backed up my log file, uninstalled the old version clearing cqrlog-data and reinstalled using 'sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ok2cqr/ppa;sudo apt-get update;sudo apt-get install cqrlog'. Went very smooth. I suspect others may have difficulty even when switching from MySQL to Mariadb because installing mariadb does not install mariadb-server or mariadb-client by default. They are required for cqrlog to work.
I find it curious that adding the ppa from terminal works but Mint complains not supported by Focal when adding it to Software Sources. Anyway, I'm up to the latest rev on Mint 20. Wooo hooooo! Thanks for all your great work.

Crap. 2.4.0 (001). I was just so happy to get it working again. Do I really need 2.5.1?

Mark, W1MM
Hi Mark!
If you can do all you want with 2.5.0 you can keep it.
CQRLOG 2.5.1 has been released
@ok2cqr ok2cqr released this 10 days ago · 17 commits to master since this release
Winkeyer didn't work (Saku, OH1KH)
CW was interrupted with every move from callsign/mode/rst fields
QTH Profile numbering (Saku, OH1KH)
As you see there are some error fixes in 2.5.1
And after that release there are even more error fixes (17 commits), but just in source code at the moment.
