Hi !

Open NewQSO/Preferences/Bands there is button "Frequencies". Select 40m and press Modify button and change the end of band. It is 7.200 by default Press OK/Close/OK to get back to NewQSO and try again.

any other fix?

I have the same type of problem, trying to enter 446.0 MHz and it says invalid frequency. I edited the 70 cm band to start at 420 and end at 450, but it won't allow me to enter any frequency over 440 MHz.

Hi !

I try to test with your values.

How ever do you have latest cqrlog 2.5.2(001) ?
If you have several logs? You have to make frequency fix for every log. Settings are log based.

Hi!
Tested that with 2.5.2(001). Set 70cm band as 420 - 450 MHz
Manually (without rig connected) added a qso with frequency 446.000 and it logged ok.

Also exported it to adif file, then deleted from log and imported back from adif file. All went ok.

I'm using cqrlog for the first time. Just downloaded and installed it today using the package manager; it installed 2.4.0 (001) 2019-10-27. If that version supplied by the package manager has this bug then I can try to locate and build the newer version by hand.

I have one log.

Ok.

Now when you have some version of cqrĺog running do:
1) backup your ~/.config/cqrlog folder. Command console: cp -a ~/.config/cqrlog ~/.config/cqrlog_bakup. You can then move ~/.config/cqrlog_bakup to USB stick to be sure it is save.
2) install "lazarus" and "git" with package manager. "lazarus" installs several dependencies (quite long list)
3) Open console give command : git clone https://github.com/ok2cqr/cqrlog.git
4) go to source root with command : cd cqrlog
5) issue command: make
6) issue command: make install

You should now have latest cqrlog for use. When ever there are new fixes in source do:
7) cd cqrlog (the folder git did create at first time)
8) git pull (to get latest changes)
9) make
10) make install

and you are again up to date.

I followed Saku's (OH1KH) advice in post #8. Upgrading to the latest version solved the problem.
