Hi all,
I was switching back and forth between wsjt and normal logging and suddenly the wsjt monitor window no longer appears!
Running CQRlog in debug mode doesn't show anything out of the ordinary.
Is there some way to get that window back ?
Also .... it would be nice if the size and position of the wsjt monitor window was saved like all the other windows.
My system is...
OS Ubuntu 20.04.03 LTS
CQRlog 2.5.2
thanks
Tim
So this is a face palm moment.
It helps if I try selecting the WSJTX monitor in the Window menu!
Apologies for the bandwidth!

HI Tim!
Answered to you this morning but got something else to do and forget to press send. Sorry.
You can use can use wsjt remote with, or without Cq monitor. When Wsjt remote is active you have selection "Wsjt monitor" in New QSO/Window menu list. If wsjt remote is not active you do not see that item in menu list.
If you have used it I guess you have accidentally closed CQ monitor from the top right corner X meaning that you close wsjt remote. How ever that does not close remote, but closes only monitor window and you can continue using wsjt remote without monitor window.
The fastest way to open and close wsjt remote is to use shortcut key Ctrl+J. How ever closing is not needed as closing wsjtx will also close wsjt remote automatic.
The sizes are saved at closing time with window position.
When you start wsjt remote at first time the monitor window is small as stamp. You have to stretch it to wanted size and then drag it to wanted place of the screen.
After that select top checkbox "Map" and stretch that window to wanted size. It is meant to be high and narrow window. Similar as band map window.
Place it to wanted part of screen.
Then uncheck the "map" checkbox and be sure that CQ monitor has size and place as you set it before. Check again "Map" and check that Map window has place and size as you adjusted.
Uncheck "map" once again, then close wsjt remote with Ctrl+J shortcut key and close cqrlog.
This procedure is needed to record the places and sizes propely (fist time).
Next time you open cqrlog and activate wsjt remote Cq monitor and map window should be there where you placed them with the size you have set.
If you loose settings somehow (cqrlog crash or something else weird) just repeat the procedure again. If you move or resize windows in normal use and close wsjt remote and cqrlog properly changes are saved.
