We have new testing version ready for download. This is probably the last testing version before I release final version of CQRLOG.
I've created both 32bit and 64bit versions.

Please try it and let me know. Small how to is described here: http://www.cqrlog.com/node/1526
Noticed, that in this version somehow VK0EK is marked as Antarctica.
Minor thing, but anyway..

Jarmo

Hi Jarmo,
did CQRLOG inform you it wants to download new DXCC tables? VK0EK has been in the tables for a few weeks. You should have new DXCC tables already downloaded.

Yes it did and version is newest, because Kingman reef KHK is moved to deleted list. I had already in official 1.9.1 VK0EK ok, but somehow when installed this (005) it shows VK0EK as CE9.

Jarmo

Also looked into CallResolution.tbl and there is VK0DA, which is marked as Heard, log claims it as Antarctica. But VK0IR shows as Heard..? Confusing

Jarmo

Solved... I removed all files from "ctyfiles" dir and started cqrlog again. Now all stations shows as their should. :D panic switch turned off.

I just noticed that the "State" field is not copied from earlier QSOs. The state shortly appears in the display, but the is deleted, probably by the missing entry in the online data base (qrz.com)
It's similar to the issue I reported with the original 1.9.1 version where name etc. was not copied from old QSOs.
Ver 1.9.1 (005)
- dupe checker no work
- On "QSO LIST" I made filter, filter worked OK. After deleting some test-QSOs "QSOs in log" did not update. Max value 100.
- I have some problem with "QTH Profiles". I use QTH profiles to sepate WWFF National Park activations. I have to make all profiles again in every update. No big deal.
- testing continues :)

Hi Timo,
thanks a lot for the bugreport! First two bugs are already fixed. Could you write me what do you mean "I have to make all profiles again in every update."? The profiles doesn't exist in database?

i tried to upgrade a 1.9.1 current to the 005 beta, and when i used the old cqrlog folde in .config i got an error... stupid as i am i forgot to write it down it looked a db error. I renamed the cqrlog folder to .old and with a new folder it worked ok. when i made the .old folder the main config folder again it worked..
As i made a snapshot from my vm with the initial 1.9.1-current, i'll restore that and i will test this agin this afternoon. If i get the error again i will let you know what it is...
Bit strange that i dont get the error again....
ok, got it.....
List Index (1) out of bounds
Had to close the program..
then starting it again made all work ok ??? weird.
i could not grep the debug info as it keeps doing somthing like sending FVM ?
it made the debug info scroll out of my buffer.
Could you run it with --debug=1, please? It should get more information.

You can save the debug output to a file.
cqrlog --debug=1 > log.txt

still want the .old folder? as when you will run it , the error will not show..
File:
Thank you for the file!
Unfortunately I still need the .old folder. I have no idea where could be the problem :(.

Could you send me the cqrlog_old directory, please?

this is the folder right after the error and crash.
When you run it, with 1.9.1_005 it will nog give an error anymore though :(
the 191_2 version i came from had most stuff still at default. hope that helps.

I'm sorry but if the error doesn't show again, it won't help me :(. I found one old data directory that did the same but suddenly it worked and the error won't appear anymore :(.
Could you got to Preferences -> TRX control -> Add/Modify memory? Does it work?

Hi Petr,
Yes that works.....
And indeed, as soon as the error pops up, and you have to quit cqrlog, the next time you run cqrlog, it works fine.... and the error is gone for good.. you experience the same as i do
The only moment the error pops up is to start 1.9.1_005 with a cqrlog folder from 1.9.1_2 (current stable)
I need to put a snapshot back in virtual box to see the error again.
Do you want my cqrlog folder i initally use in 1.9.1_2 ? Thats the one for sure to cause an error when you start 1.9,1_005 with it
Alex
Hi Alex,
yes, that directory would help me a lot! I just fixed another error but I think it's not related to this one. If you wanted to switch between logs, CQRLOG crashed.

Awesome Petr.
I'm sure it was not easy.
I have seen you fixed a few things already in this Beta.
Is it possible to release Beta 006? Or do you think it will be a stable release now ?
Alex
I'm going to release a new version tomorrow. I have to because current version doesn't work in Ubuntu 16.04. Today tried to build deb packages and it worked.
